Inspired by Ruth Snyder's story, this production of Machinal visually traps the Young Woman within a relentless, circular machine. We stage Machinal to physically represent the 'machine of modern society,' portraying the Young Woman's life as a trapped, cyclical journey within its gears, highlighting the play's exploration of female oppression.

This rendition aims to recreate the play's original festive atmosphere, exploring themes of love, gender, and status through cross-dressing and role reversal, inspired by the historical Twelfth Night celebration. This was done specifically by highlighting Viola's transformative influence as she literally brings vibrant color to a previously black and white world.

In addition to choreographing for children's theater, I have had the pleasure of working as a dance captain cleaning choreography and running lift calls. This has allowed me to continue developing skills in running a rehearsal, communicating aptly with adult performers, and quick choreography retention.
It has been my immense pleasure to work as a fight captain. I have taken stage combat classes and been the captain of several shows. Most notably, Spring Awakening Dir. Noah Racey, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Dir. Dillon Kenyon, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Dir. Noah Racey.
