I aim to make theater that has clearly been loved and cared for by everyone involved. I want it to be a labor of love – not a show of over exuberant talent or artistry. I want it to be thoroughly thought through and imbued with excitement because that then makes the story cohesive and titillating for the audience present.
I want to make theater that emphasizes how the good and the bad have to go together. How intimately connected those are and how normal everyone might come off to the average joe even if they are ruined underneath. I want to inspire empathy within my audience and my actors.
I love theater that deeply explores the unique human condition we all have and demands an exploration from the self and the judgements we inherently hold. I want to make theater where everyone involved learns something somehow – whether they be a designer, cast member, or only there for one night.
I would demand an empathetic approach from each individual I worked with, including myself. I would hold everyone creating the theater piece accountable and expect to be held accountable myself, as I want to make theater that holds the audience accountable. If we don’t maintain that standard ourselves, how can we demand that of our audience.
And I especially want to make theater that is fun. For everyone.

In addition to choreographing for children's theater, I have had the pleasure of working as a dance captain cleaning choreography and running lift calls. This has allowed me to continue developing skills in running a rehearsal, communicating aptly with adult performers, and quick choreography retention.
It has been my immense pleasure to work as a fight captain. I have taken stage combat classes and been the captain of several shows. Most notably, Spring Awakening Dir. Noah Racey, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Dir. Dillon Kenyon, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Dir. Noah Racey.
